Windsor Neighbourhood Child Care Centre
Windsor Neighbourhood Child Care Centre was established in 1985 and offers a 52 place, not–for-profit child care centre that educates children from 6 weeks to 5 years.
The Centre is located within a quiet residential street and provides a unique setting for a Long Day Care service in an old Queenslander renovated to specifically meet the care and educational needs of the children who happily attend.
Windsor Neighbourhood Child Care Centre has established strong relationships with the local residents, including the small school and the Outside School Hours Care service nearby. The unique environment that the centre provides is enhanced by the large backyard in which all the children play together utilising the natural elements within the environment; the trees, garden and grass blend well with the sandpit, fort and bike track. These elements provide a natural learning environment that is capitalised on through our outstanding programming and educational practice.
The Centre’s educators are devoted, caring, and committed to providing the best care and education for our children. The commitment to best practice is reflected in the centre’s overall rating of Meeting National Quality Standard under the National Quality Framework Rating and Assessment process.
A large number of the families and caregivers that use the service are a result of recommendations, a reputation that the Centre is extremely proud of. Windsor Neighbourhood Child Care Centre is committed to ensuring the children that attend the service and families are valued, respected, and nurtured.
