Centacare Family and Relationship Services (CFRS) is part of Centacare in the Archdiocese of Brisbane. Our branches respond to local community needs throughout South East Queensland.
CFRS is growing to meet the needs of the community and currently have an opportunity within our Gold Coast region. The position of Practitioner offered is a part- time role (60 hours per fortnight) and will be based on the Gold Coast.
Key responsibilities of the Family Violence Practitioner position is to provide professional, case management and referral services within the framework of Centacare Catholic Family and Community and Services (CFCS) mission, values and vision.
A minimum of 2 years' experience in the sector, specifically working with DFV, along with knowledge and experience of Domestic Violence Child Safety and Family Law legislation is highly desirable.
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Psychology, Social or Behavioural Sciences from a recognised tertiary institution or equivalent are required. Eligibility for membership of PACFA, APS, AASW, or similar recognised professional association is also required.
A current driver's licence, current (or eligibility for) Qld Working with Children Check - 'Blue Card' and evidence of Australian Work Rights to confirm citizenship or a visa holder is required.
The position is a part-time position 30 hours per week. The remuneration package is Level 5 Social Community Home Care & Disability Services Industry Award - Plus 17.5% Leave Loading and 9.5% Superannuation.
