Centacare Family and Relationship Services (CFRS) is part of Centacare in the Archdiocese of Brisbane. Our branches respond to local community needs throughout South East Queensland.
CFRS has a part time (21 hours per week) practitioner position available for suitably qualified practitioners based at Kingaroy, South Burnett. The role offers practice in both sexual assault work and family and relationship work.
Qualified practitioners with demonstrated experience in trauma-informed, solution-focused counselling and support with clients impacted by sexual assault, and in general family and relationship counselling, as well psycho-educational and therapeutic groups are invited to apply. Risk assessment knowledge and skills in the areas of sexual assault, domestic and family violence, child protection and suicidality, are essential.
QUALIFICATIONS: Relevant tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Psychology, Social or Behavioural Sciences from a recognised tertiary institution or equivalent. Eligibility for membership of PACFA, APS, AASW, or similar recognised professional association is also required.
A current driver's licence, current (or eligibility for) Qld Working with Children Check - 'Blue Card' and evidence of Australian Work Rights to confirm citizenship or a visa holder is required. A criminal history check will be conducted with the successful applicant.
Remuneration for the position is level 5.1 Social Community, Home Care & Disability Services Industry Award plus 17.5% Annual Leave Loading and 9.5% Superannuation.
