St Clare’s Kindergarten Yarrabilba
St Clare’s Kindergarten will open in January 2017 on the grounds of the new school, St Clare’s Primary School Yarrabilba. St Clare’s is located within the Regents Park Parish and takes its name from St Clare, one of the Founders of the Franciscans, an influential order in the Catholic Church since the early 13th Century. It will be the only school in south-east Queensland with this name.
The children at St Clare’s will be involved in a kindergarten program devised by a 4 year, university trained, Early Childhood teacher where they will offer a play based program.
The kindergarten will be equipped with resources especially designed for kindergarten children. With the kindergarten on the same campus as the school, families are able to do a single drop off for all their children and the children can then transition seamlessly to prep in familiar surroundings.
Kindergarten Program Information
St Clare’s Kindergarten has an approved Queensland Government Kindergarten Program for Kindergarten age eligible children over a five day fortnight, during the school terms.
The Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guideline is the curriculum framework used to support the children as learners and to build on each child’s interests and abilities.
