Matthew delivers ‘first class service’ with the assistance of My Future: My Life
Centacare’s My Future: My Life client Matthew Horan, may have autism but this has not stopped him going into business.
Matthew made an application to Centacare’s – My Future: My Life initiative which saw him secure financial assistance to develop a business plan to establish a courier business in his local area. He was successful in his application and it has allowed him to design and print advertising flyers and purchase business uniforms with his company logo. Matthew is unable to manage his business independently, however with support “Horan Courier Services” successfully went from strength to strength.
Horan Courier Services was started earlier this year and Matthew can be found travelling across the north side of Brisbane; soon to be five days a week.
His mum Sharon said “he has a disability but he just wants to be like everyone else”.
Matthew embraces every customer with a smile and an enthusiasm that is contagious.
“It’s great to see Matthew doing so well with his business idea and it’s nice to see him benefitting from the assistance we have provided. We are all following his progress and we wish him all the best with his business”, said Natasha Hepi, My Future: My Life Assessor.
