ABOUT THE ORGANISATION

The Archdiocese of Brisbane provides daily support to over 160,000 people through its aged care, childcare, education, welfare, parishes and community services. The Archdiocese is embarking on a new strategic approach to marketing these services.

The Archdiocese of Brisbane covers the region from the NSW border to Hervey Bay and as far west as Kingaroy. The Archdiocese is made up of 100 parishes, Catholic social services, community based agencies, and various professional services and ministries.

ABOUT THE ROLE
This position works with the General Manager, Marketing and Engagement to develop and implement digital strategies and campaigns to effectively market Archdiocesan services, engage with key audiences and inform business improvement, as a part of an overarching Marketing and Engagement framework.

A key focus will be to support the Archdiocese's service delivery arm, Centacare, to deliver a broad range of social services (including disability, aged care, child care and family services) and participate effectively in an increasingly competitive market environment.

The Manager, Digital Strategy will work closely with the General Manager and the Manager, Marketing and Communication to identify opportunities and develop and manage creative, effective digital strategies which leverage broader Archdiocesan communications, bring the Centacare brand to life and deliver on service specific marketing objectives.

Key areas of responsibility include:

-Lead the Archdiocese's external and internal web presence with an immediate focus on developing the Centacare site to optimise user experience, build the Centacare brand and maximise visitation and conversion.

-Oversee social media strategy development and implementation, reporting and insights and continuous improvement to build and engage with a range of online communities. The incumbent will also contribute to complementary digital advertising plans and development and implementation of EDM strategies.
 
-Collaborate with colleagues in the Marketing and Engagement, Communications and Fundraising teams to implement clear and efficient processes for digital marketing and communication activities and ensure the timely delivery of high quality content for digital platforms.

- As a digital thought leader within the organisation, the incumbent will monitor brand engagement, maintain awareness of competitor activity, anticipate and leverage emerging digital tools and trends and apply insights to improve marketing, engagement and service responses.
